Annihilator – Annihilator
I don’t know whether you agree or not but from my point of view I believe that the days when Annihilator put out a really great album are long gone. I know I am stuck in the bands very first period (Alice in hell & Never Neverland) but first I can’t help it and second Annihilator did nothing on their behalf to unstuck me. For some reason (which I know) from Refresh the Demon album and after all albums are colourless – for sure they are heavy but they lack of inspiration, they sound to me like they are part of the same story that goes on for some albums now – nothing new, nothing to get excited about.
The same happens here with the bands self titled album. Although Mr Waters believe’s that this is the best album he released for sometime now – I think otherwise. I think that he’s playing is predictable, I am bothered that I hear riffs that I have heard before and I am pissed with the reason why this man/band doesn’t take any risk.
Mr Waters please refresh the demon.
