Disgust

There is a lot to be said about the situation here in Greece and I am not in the mood. I could rant at length about the incompetent crooks (who I never voted for) that brought us in this state, the draconian financial measures that are supposed to “make our economy more competitive” (casually destroying people’s lives in the process), the bigots and conspiracy theorists in our media, the murderous thugs that have stained the idea of dissent, the smug, patronizing comments and editorials about us from all around Europe, or the fact that we might end up bankrupt anyway. I could bitch about the speculator vultures that bet against our survival or the simple, every- day Greek citizens (meaning all of us) that undermined the nation for 35 fucking years with petty grievances and small- minded stupidity. Don’ t worry though, I won’t.
