The Need for Speed
Our friend Mick Farren has a new book out and that’s always cause for celebration. Speed- Speed- Speedfreak examines the history of amphetamine in the 20th and 21st centuries. Farren was a key figure in the Notting Hill pre- punk scene (think Hawkwind, The Deviants, The Pink Fairies, Motorhead) so he knows what he’s writing about. Check out more details at his blog:
