The Who-30 Years of Maximum R & B

We all know The Who, don’t we? Well if you don’t this isn’t the right time or place to get to know one of British’s rock ‘n’ roll bands of all time. I am sure you are familiar with some of their tunes ‘cause you might have heard of them in advertisements or on the radio but didn’t know to whom it belong to – well, it was The Who.

So sometime in 1994 Polydor records released a box set under the name Thirty Years of Maximum R&B, covering the entire history of the band – not every track, but enough to capture an acurate picture of the band at every stage of their career. Actually the set consists of four cds that covers the bands career from the early days when they were running under the name The High Numbers until their reunion in 1989. Those four cd’s had everything a fan would have asked for in a very reasonable price (under 50$). More specifically it featured tracks from original studio albums, rarities, b-sides and sound interviews and commercials.

Along with the cd’s came a 145 pages full color booklet with detailed biography and rare photography.

Later that year a a live DVD was also released under the same title.
