I ‘m not much of a My Chemical Romance fan, but their new promo is very interesting for any self- respecting comic geek. First of all, it stars ninth art godhead and psychedelic guru Grant Morrison (The Invisibles, Arkham Asylum, JLA, Doom Patrol, We3, Seven Soldiers, etc.) who is one of our heroes. Moreover, according to Ilias Kyriazis, Vasilis Lolos has worked on the video. Kyriazis should know, as both he and Lolos are two of the best Greek artists working within the comics medium these days. It’s not surprising that the band is comic book- obsessed. Singer Gabriel Way used to be an intern for DC Comics and is the creator of the wonderful The Umbrella Academy for Dark Horse. I don’t know in what capacity Lolos has contributed to this, but his style is all over it (check out the image above and in his blog and you ‘ll see what I mean). I love that promo. Not sure about the song yet.
