Lake Of Tears – Wacken Open Air 7/08/2010
Swedish progressive doom metalers Lake Of Tears appeared the last day of the festival in the Wet Stage just before our own Rotting Christ. Having to deal with the misfortune to overlap with bands like Immortal and Candlemass they didn’t manage to fill the small Wet Stage with crowd – but manage to deliver what they are best known about, descent metal with elegant harmonies. Leaving their keyboards behind they performed songs mostly from albums like Forever Autumn, A Crismon Cosmos, Black Brick Road and Headstones forgetting the Neonai Album which is my favorite one.
Anyway, everyone seemed to have a great time (the band also), and that’s what matters at the end.
