Vampires on the BBC
Amazingly, the BBC website includes a section called Cult Vampire Magazine. This is why the BBC is probably the only broadcaster in the world that does not suck by default people. Does Fox News have a vampire- oriented website? I think not.
Anyway, the webzine is a gift to those who are sick of sparkly vampires. There are extracts from Dracula, a vintage Sherlock Holmes story (The Adventure of the Sussex Vampire) and new stories by Kim Newman (whose Anno Dracula book series should be required reading for horror fans), Graham Masterton (who I once had the pleasure of interviewing), Michael Marshal Smith, Christopher Golden and Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast member Amber Benson. There is even a Doctor Who vampire tale. I can already hear the cries of happiness of thousands of Goths. Have fun:
