Literally, in the case of The Devil’s Commandos, the new project by Tim Bradstreet and Todd Farmer. It’s a 3D film, starring Thomas Jane, about a bunch of WWII commandos on a rescue mission who end up against Satan’s army.

Sounds cool, although it all depends on the execution. Todd Farmer is part of the team behind the My Bloody Valentine 3D sequel and Drive Angry. Now, I didn’t much care for MBV and I have still to see Drive Angry (I hope it’s better than fucking Season of the Witch). I am very selective with my trash. However, Bradstreet is a legendary illustrator who has worked with everyone, from DC and Marvel Comics, to Iron Maiden so I am hopeful. Thomas Jane has been in some terrible movies (Deep Blue Sea, The Punisher), but I really liked him in The Mist and he seems like a genuine comic book geek. Anyway, The Devil’s Commandos is a labor of love and the team is trying to raise some awareness on the project, so check out more info and spread the word:
