Who Is Amanda Wachob?
I first came across Amanda Wachob’s work a year ago when I was searching the net for some weird abstract tattoos to decorate myself. For my surprise, Mrs Wachob is being doing some great work in the tattoo industry by launching a quite new and unique category in abstract tattooing similar to brushstrokes.
She has been tattooing since 1998 and she runs her own Blue Moon Tattoo studio in Buffalo NY since 2003. Inspiration comes from social injustice, issues in American culture as she states in her interviews while the idea of abstract tattoos came to her some years ago while researching Abstract Expressionism.
