Falloch – Where Distant Spirits Remain

Falloch was formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 2010 by Andy Marshall and Scott McLean and “Where Distant Spirits Remain” is their debut album produced Ronan Chris Murphy (Ulver, King Crimson).

Whether you call their music atmospheric black metal, ambient folk or post-rock one thing is for sure – you are talking about the same thing. While borrowing influences from acts like Primordial, Agalloch and Alcest, Falloch created a unique masterpiece.  A canvas filled with atmospheric sounds, passionate while frozen lyrics blended with marvelous riffs and creepy blast beats when needed.

I’m also totally down with instrumental paths and clean vocals – simplicity is the key element in Falloch’s music and that’s what’s making this record huge!
