Johnny Depp, Tim Burton and Alice Cooper. Nuff Said…
Johnny Depp is everywhere lately, to the extent that I wouldn’t be surprised to see him walk down my street or something. He’s been directing a documentary on Keith Richards, jamming on stage with Billy Gibbons, getting blind drunk in New York and playing Hunter Thompson once again in The Rum Diary. And then, there’s the upcoming Dark Shadows. Directed by Tim Burton and with a cast that includes Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter and Eva Green, the film version of the legendary gothic soap opera seems to be the ultimate celebration of the Byronic horror aesthetic. The only thing missing is an Alice Cooper appearance.
Oh wait, Alice Cooper is in it too. Congratulations all round:
