Coventry doom metal pioneers Cathedral have made some of the greatest heavy albums of all time, but now it’s time to say goodbye. Not quite just yet though…

There will be one last album (The Last Spyre) and a few more gigs. The band has just released a live album, Anniversary and now we have a new song, Sabbadaious Sabbatum. According to the awesome Doomantia site, the song will be the B-Side to a forthcoming limited edition vinyl only 12″ single A New Ice Age (which is being released through Rise Above Records). Special Editions of this release will only be available from the bands last gig at London’s Kentish Town Forum on Saturday December 3rd. Don’t miss it!
