Franky Lee is a pop, punk rock band from Sweden formed in 2006 by Mathias Farm (Millencolin),and Magnus Hager (Peepshows) and this is their second original (first: “Cutting Edge” ,2007) simply called “There Is No Hell Like Other People’s Happiness “.

The band delivers a very simplistic, radio friendly, American influenced punk rock n roll filled with shouting vocals, some catchy pop melodies and a few cool guitar hooks. The truth is that you have heard this stuff before a million times. You have heard it from Green Day, from Blink “one hundred and something” and so, so many others.

I totally wanted to like this one but I can’t. I totally agree with the album title, I fancy the album cover but the music is to ….jumpy for my taste.
