Hessler – Comes With The Territory

hessler comes with the territory

HESSLER is a Chicago based female fronted heavy metal act. The band before releasing their debut “Comes With The Territory” album, have released the ep “Bad Blood” in 2011 for which they have received exceptional reviews. The band, since their formation has given numerous gigs and live shows and has performed with acts like Cinderella, W.A.S.P., Steel Panther, U.F.O., Buckcherry, Sebastian Bach, Loudness, Dokken, Skid Row, Doro Pesch, Warrant, L.A. Guns, Lizzy Borden,  Gilby Clarke (Guns N Roses), Sister Sin and The Last Vegas just to name a few while recently they provided soundtrack for the first documentary on the legendary wrestler “The Dynamite Kid” Tom Billington.

Hessler are a weird case of a band. All members share more all less the same influences, from Iron Maiden Judas Priest, Ramstein and Dimu Borgir to more sleazy stuff like Darkness, Motley Crue, WASP and Guns N Roses. The nice thing is that you are not going to hear Dimu Borgir style growls blended with dirty rock n roll guitars. But, their sound isn’t 100% sleazy either. They bring to front something from the eighties NWOBHM and that something lies on the guitar hooks and riffing. Other than that musically they breathe heavy metal with a tendency to dirty sleaze. The double guitars are simply awesome giving away for free numerous of imaginative solo works while vocalist Lariyah Daniels doesn’t only have the looks but also one of the best hoarse female voice…among the ladies. Furthermore “Comes With The Territory” shares dozens of cool refrains and catchy choruses that will force you to buy the damn thing instantly.
